ready for the journey.

yesterday was my first day of cosmetology school and all i can say is I'M IN LOVE! kenneth shuler is the most amazing school i have ever attended and i am so glad i made the decision to invest in this path. started out today doing a shampoo/condition, blow dry and style and this is what i came up with

was going for a kinda 40s look with loose curls...could've been ALOT better if i didn't have to rush at the end and if the curling iron would've been good quality instead of some crappy 80s helen of troy haha. today we started studying color and did a dinky bs rinse that wasn't even worthy of taking a pic sooo that won't be put up here.

on another note, talked to jason for FOREVER today. hearing his voice always cheers me up. COME ON, who couldn't love this face!?

silly bookie :P aaand after waiting 8 MONTHS he finally said i love you [yay!!!]. this is one time that me forcing myself to be patient paid off. also talked about marriage [!!!] and he said he might want to do it BEFORE i graduate. i swear i love everything about this guy. i've never had someone to give me butterflies every time we talk on the phone. he tells me i'm beautiful instead of hot and even rubs my feet for me without me having to ask haha. he's the bees knees!

anyways...done rambling about that...now it's beddy bye time for me. i'm DRAINED and have another long day ahead of me tomorrow!

start cosmetology school tomorrow...SUPER excited!!! and nervous as all get out. get my kit in 2 weeks, can't wait to post pics. it's gonna be like christmas all over again!

ok so i recently got my hello kitty watch in the mail that i grabbed off ebay for ONE DOLLAR!!! back in early february and it just came in about a week ago. hmm. anyways, i love this thing. i needed a white watch since the super awesome one i got from forever21 broke a while ago. and what girl doesn't love hello kitty?

this baby gets worn everywhere. hopefully this one won't break too. and of course gotta love the candle jason got for me in colorado

one of the most AMAZING scents i've ever smelled in my life. i lit this in the hallway bathroom and it reached in my bedroom AND the half bathroom AND down the maze-like hallway. could still smell it about 2 hours after i blew it out. what can i say, my guy apparently has better taste than i thought.

hmm. first entry is always lame as crap. never really know what to put...especially since pretty much nobody will be reading this. i'll probably post a ton of random pics about how my day is going...yep, sounds good. anyways, this is meeee

i'm 23, live in the middle of NOWHERE south carolina. start cosmetology school on friday sooo this thing will more than likely be a makeup/hair/fashion kinda blog...stuff i'm feeling at the moment. and randomness going on in my life. aaaand this is my boo jason. my soldier, my hero.

been together almost 8 months and he's pefect. he rocks my world :D

  

anyways...planning on going out tonight with one of my good friends and partners in crime erica. been a few months since we've gone out and had a girls night. hopefully gonna do some damage in five points sooo i'm gonna end this here!
